Default Timecards Export

 

Summary

 

The Default Timecards Export tool is used to generate an export file that includes earning/timecard data for a filtered group of employees. The .csv export file will include the following employee information for every employee included in the export: employee number, name, department, and position. The export file will include the following timecard information for every employee included in the export: pay code, hours, hourly rate, and amount.

Step by Step

 

1     Open the Default Timecards Export window (PR> Reports> Default Timecards).

 

2     Configure the export file.  

 

  • The Configuration field is used to select the export configuration that you would like to use. This field will default to the standard configuration, but you can select any custom export configuration set up for the Default Timecards tool.
  • The Effective Date field is used to specify the effective date of the timecard data included in the export file.
    • The pay code, hours, hourly rate and amount data that is included in the export file will be based on all financial revisions effective on or before the selected date.
  • The Timecard Cycles field is used to select the timecard cycles you would like to include on the export.
    • Check the toggle next to the field title to select or deselect all the timecard cycles.
    • Any timecards that are not included in at least one selected cycle will be skipped.
    • Timecard cycles are attached to the default timecard line items on employee records and allow you to group the default timecards that will be used to generate paychecks. Click here for information on Timecard Cycles.
  • The Pay Schedules field is used to select the pay schedules you would like to include in the export.
  • The Employee Status field is used to select the employment statuses that will display in the export.
    • Check the toggle next to the field title to select or deselect all the employee statuses.

3     Export the file.  

 

  • Click the Submit button to export the default timecards data.
  • Once the export has finished processing, you can download the file from the notification link or the Jobs Viewer.
