License Type Group Maintenance

Summary

License Type Groups are used to combine multiple license types into a group. Some examples for commonly used license type groups are AG for agriculture, IND for industrial, and MAN for manufacturing.

Step by Step

1 Open the License Type Group Selection window.

The License Type Group Selection window (LP> Maintenance> License Type Group) displays all of the license type groups created in the application.
Highlight a license type group and click the Delete icon or press DELETE to delete the selected license type group.
- Deleting a license type group does not delete the license types that are associated with that group.
Highlight a license type group and click the Modify icon to edit the selected license type group.
Click the Create icon to open the License Type Group Maintenance window.

2 Create a new License Type Group.

Enter a unique Group for the new license type group. The group field can be up to 20 alphanumeric characters.

The Description field is used to enter a description on the license type group. This optional description can be up to 60 alphanumeric characters long.
Click the Save icon when complete.
