Customer Payment Portal - Make Payment
The Make Payment page is used to review payment details and submit payments.

The left section of the page displays the property and payment details associated with the current payment.

The right section of the page displays the payment options.

Citizens can choose to pay the Total Account Balance, the Current Charges, or Other.

The Total Account Balance amount is the total account balance due, including fees, past due amounts from previous billing cycles, and any manual adjustments since last billing.

The Current Charges amount is the billing amount incurred since last billing cycle. Prior balances, past due amounts, and adjustments are not included in this amount.

When Other is selected, the field to the right will be enabled and the citizen can specify a payment amount over $0.01.

Citizens can click the Make Payment button once they have selected their payment options.

The Payment Method Options section allows citizens to choose an existing payment method or to set up a new payment method for auto pay.

When Use Existing Payment Method is selected, the Select Existing Payment Method section below will display all the payment methods set up on the citizen's account.

When Use New Payment Method is selected, the pay method Description and Bank Account or Credit Card Information sections will display so the citizen can set up a new pay method for the payment.

The Payment Options section allows citizens to sign up for auto pay or to save a newly entered pay method to their account.

When the After this transaction, use this payment method to enroll in Auto Pay toggle is checked, the Auto Pay options will be displayed.

At the top of the expanded Auto Pay options, citizens will see a warning message. This message is configured inn My Agency> Settings> Payment Settings> Auto Pay Message field. If a message is not configured, this warning message block will not be displayed.

The Amount To Pay section allows citizens to choose Current Charges or Total Amount Due as their payment amount option. These values are displayed at the top of Customer Payment Portal Home page.

The Payment Date section allows citizens to set up auto pay to either pay their bill on the due date or to pay their bill a specified number of days before their due date.

The number of days a citizen can select is set up on the Payment Settings page under My Agency> Settings. Click here for information on the Payment Settings page.

Once the payment is submitted, the citizen's account will be set up for Auto Pay.

The Save payment information for future use toggle is only enabled when Use New Payment Method is selected under the Payment Method Options section.

Once the payment is submitted, the new payment method will be saved to the citizen's account.

Click the Complete Payment button to submit the payment. After a successful payment, the Payment Confirmation page will be displayed.

From the Payment Confirmation page, citizens can review the payment details and print the payment confirmation.

Citizens are limited to six transactions, including declined payments, per account per day. If a citizen exceeds that limit, they will see the following error message:

NOTE: The "tomorrow" referenced in the error message is calculated in UTC time, so the reset time for your citizens will not correspond to midnight local time.
