PM> Reports> Expense vs. Budget by Project
Summary
The Expense vs. Budget by Project Report allows you to review the financial progress of Project Management projects at the project. The report provides detailed information on project/task expenses to date and what percentage of the total project/task budget those expenses represent.

Step by Step
1 Open the Expense vs. Budget by Project window (PM> Reports> Expense vs. Budget by Project).
2 Configure the report. 
- Enter a project range in the Project From and Project To fields or click the field search buttons
to select existing projects from a list.- Projects are created and maintained on the Project Maintenance window (PM> Maintenance> Project). Click here for information on Project Maintenance.
- Enter a task range in the Task Code From and Task Code To fields or click the field search buttons to select tasks from a list.
- If you do not specify a task range, the report will display all of the tasks associated with the filtered projects.
- Tasks are created and maintained on the Task Maintenance window (PM> Maintenance> Task). Click here for information on Task Maintenance.
- Use the Period From, Period To, Fiscal Year From, and Fiscal Year To fields to filter the report results by a range of periods and fiscal years. If no range is specified, the report will display the entire project/task history.
- Check the Include uncommitted journal entries toggle to include both committed and uncommitted journal entries in the report.
- Check the Show LEMS detail toggle to include and sort the report by LEMS designation.
- The report will display the Project Label, Task Label, LEMS designation (if the toggle is checked), Budget amount, Activity within the date range, Previous Activity, Budget Variance, Encumbered amount, Uncommitted POs, Available amount, and the Percentage Available. A Task total, Project total, and Report total will also be provided.
3 Print the report.
- Once the required report settings have been specified, click the Print button
to print your report.
- Click the options arrow on the right side of the Print button to see other print options.
- Select PDF to print the report in the default Springbrook format.
- Select Excel to export the report data to an Excel spreadsheet as unformatted data.
- Select Excel (Formatted) to export the report data to an Excel spreadsheet that includes much of the Springbrook formatting found on the printed version of the report.
- Click the Schedule icon
next to the Print button in order to schedule the report to generate at a later date and time.- Enter a Date and Time to generate the report and click SUBMIT.
