Generate Holiday Timesheets
Summary
The Generate Holiday Timesheets utility automatically creates a timesheet line for a specific holiday. Uncommitted timesheet lines will only be created for employees with open timesheet periods for the holiday selected.
Access must be granted in SS Menu Security (SS> Security> Menu). Click here for information on Menu Security.
Step by Step
1 Open the Generate Holiday Timesheets window (PR> Utilities> Generate Holiday Timesheets).
2 Enter the Holiday Timesheets details.
- Click the Holiday field search button to select the holiday from a list.
- Holidays are created and maintained on the Holiday Maintenance window (PR> Maintenance> Holiday). Click here for information on Holiday Maintenance.
- Enter the Pay Code that will be attached to the holiday timesheet or click the field search button to select the pay code from a list.
- Pay codes are created and maintained on the Pay Code Maintenance window (PR> Maintenance> Pay Code). Click here for information on Pay Code Maintenance.
- The Hours field is used to specify the number of hours that will be on the holiday timesheet record.
- The data grid below is used to select the employee records that will be updated with holiday timesheet lines.
- Click ADD to open the Employee Selection window.
- Use the search criteria to filter the employees displayed in the window.
- Select the employees you would like to add to the tool and click the Select button . Those employees will now be included in the Generate Holiday Timesheets data grid.
- Click the Submit button to generate the holiday timesheets.
- If a selected employee record does not include an open timesheet period, the tool will still process but an error will be displayed in the Jobs Viewer. Click here for information on Employee Maintenance.
