Create New Year Assessments

Create assessment records for the new tax year. This process also checks to see if an assessment for the year is already on a parcel and skips it.

Note: You can also Generate Assessment Year from the Parcel record > Assessments tab.

Prerequisites

Create New Year Assessments permission is required to run the Create New Year Assessments process.

Create new year assessments

  1. From the left-side navigation, select Processes.

  2. Under the Parcels section, select Create New Year Assessments.

  3. Confirm the New Tax Year is correct.

    Important: Before creating the new year assessments, the Current Tax Year value on the Settings > Edit CAMA Configuration modal must be updated to the new year.
  1. Optional: To remove mortgage and loan Information from the assessment records, select the Remove Mortgage and Loan Information checkbox.

  2. Select Create Assessments.

  3. Select Yes on the prompt.

  1. On the Create New Year Assessments Log panel, select Refresh.

The completed process displays in the panel.

View process parameters

View the Process Parameters selected for a process.

  1. From the left-side navigation, select Processes.

  2. Under the Parcels section, select Create New Year Assessments.

  3. Locate the process in the Create New Year Assessments Log panel.

  4. Select the expander icon (+) next to the process.
