Post Reassessment Appraisals

After validation, post reassessment appraisals to parcels in bulk using this process.

This process takes reassessment appraisal data and posts it to the Reassessment Market Value and Reassessment Taxable Value columns in the Parcel record > Assessments > Appraisals/Assessments panel.

Prerequisites

Post Reassessment Appraisals permission is required to run this process.

Post reassessment appraisals

  1. From the left-side navigation, select Processes.

  2. Under the Reassessments section, select Post Reassessment Appraisals.

  3. Enter the Tax Year.

  4. Select Post Reassessments.

    Notes:

    • If a Pending Mass Appraisal Year exists when the Post Reassessments button is selected, the Post Reassessment Appraisals? confirmation modal displays.

    • If a Pending Mass Appraisal Year does not exist when the Post Reassessments button is selected, the Mass Appraisal Year Missing warning modal displays.

  1. On the Post Reassessment Appraisals Log panel, select Refresh.

 

When the Post Reassessment Appraisals process is completed:

  • Process details display in the Post Reassessment Appraisals Log grid.

  • The reassessment appraisal values for a given Mass Appraisal Year are posted to the applicable assessment year in the Reassessment Values columns.

  • CAMA will calculate Assessed Values on Reassessments and calculate Assessed on both Market and Taxable Values.

  • If a parcel status is Active or Inactive, the linked appraisal values are posted. If the parcel status is Pending, the linked appraisal values are not posted.

  • Agricultural appraisals are broken up between the Use Values and Market Values between classes.

  • Adjustments are included in the values if the appraisal is flagged as an adjustment appraisal. The total value on the appraisal should match the total value in the Reassessment columns.

 

View process parameters

View the Process Parameters selected for a process.

  1. From the left-side navigation, select Processes.

  2. Under the Reasessments section, select Post Reassessment Appraisals.

  3. Locate the process in the Post Reassessment Appraisals Log panel.

  4. Select the expander icon (+) next to the process.
