Run Tax Roll Export Validations
Validate tax rolls, test exports, and view process statuses, errors, and warnings.

Taxpayer Name

Taxpayer Address

Required District/Area Types exist.

If multiple District/Areas of the same Type exist, the sum of their percentages equals 100%.

Assigned District/Area Types are valid and in effect for the tax year.

Fee export column includes only 1 fee per assigned (Fee 1-5).

Class code status is active.
-
If Class Code assessment ratio = 0, confirm the assessed value is not greater than 0.
-
If Class Code assessment ratio is greater than 0, confirm the taxable and/or assessed value is also greater than 0.
-
Parcel must have a Market Value Only class code and Tax Value Only class code.

Total Parcel Assessed Value of parcel is equal to or greater than the configured Minimum Assessed Value.

Parcel status is active.

If a parcel has a tax year and is assigned a parcel status of Inactive, the following warning message displays: Warning: Parcel is INACTIVE and WILL be included in the export.

If a parcel has a tax year and is assigned a parcel status of Pending, the following warning message displays: Warning: Parcel is PENDING and WILL NOT be included in the export.

The parcel owner name validation confirms Mailing Name Line 1 exists.
Prerequisites
Tax Roll Export Validations permission is required to run the Tax Roll Export Validations process.
Run a tax roll export validation

From the left-side navigation, select Processes.

Under the Exports section, select Tax Roll Export Validations.

Populate the fields.

Tax Year: Enter the tax year.
Important: The Tax Year cannot be less than the Current Tax Year set on the Settings > CAMA Configuration panel.

Parcel Type (optional): Select a parcel type, either Mobile Home or Real.

Exempt Parcels (optional): Select to Include, Exclude, or Only include exempt parcels.

Select Validate Tax Roll.

On the Last Process Run Status panel, select Refresh.
The completed process displays in the Last Process Run Status panel.
Validation results display in the Errors and Warnings panel.
Validate a fixed error or warning
Validate an error or warning is fixed from the Errors and Warnings panel.

From the left-sign navigation, select Processes.

Under the Exports section, select Tax Roll Export.

Run a Tax Roll Export Validation.
Any errors or warnings display in the Errors and Warnings panel.

Select the parcel identifier hyperlink to go to the parcel record and fix the error or address the warning.

Return to the Errors and Warnings panel and select Validate.
The item is removed from the panel.
To export the Errors and Warnings as an Excel file, select Export to Excel.
Run a test export
Run a test export of validations without updating the parcel assessment status to Submitted.

From the left-sign navigation, select Processes.

Under the Exports section, select Tax Roll Export Validations.

Populate the fields.

Tax Year: Enter the tax year.
Important: The Tax Year cannot be less than the Current Tax Year set on the Settings > CAMA Configuration panel.

Parcel Type (optional): Select a parcel type, either Mobile Home or Real.

Exempt Parcels (optional): Select to Include, Exclude, or Only include exempt parcels.

Select Test Export.
The test export displays in the Last Process Run Status panel.
To download the test export, select Download.
