Manage valuation settings (Basic Cost - Agricultural)
Create and manage the following settings for Basic Cost Agricultural valuations:

Round To Values: Values used when rounding building, land, and land market values.

Cost Data Sets: Cost data set years.

Appraisal Districts: Names of appraisal districts, such as North Quadrant.

Crop Use Classes: Crop land class types.
-
Timber Use Classes: Timber land class types.
Prerequisites
-
View Settings permission is required to view the Valuations panel.

Edit Appraisal Settings permission is required to add, edit, or delete valuation settings.
Manage round to values

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Round To Values panel, select Edit.
- Populate the fields.
- Round Building Values To: Enter a number to use when rounding building values.
- Round Land Use Values To: Enter a number to use when rounding land values.
- Round Land Market Values To: Enter a number to use when rounding land market values.

Select Save.
The values are added and display in the Round To Values panel.
Manage cost data sets
Add a cost data set year

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Cost Data Sets panel, select Add.
- Enter the Year for the cost data set.

Select Add Year.
The year displays in the Cost Data Sets panel.
Delete a cost data set year

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Cost Data Sets panel, find the year and select the Delete icon.
- If the cost data set is eligible for deletion, select Yes on the confirmation message.
Note: If the cost data set is currently in use on an appraisal, it cannot be deleted.
The year is removed from the Cost Data Sets panel.
Manage appraisal districts
Add an appraisal district

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Appraisal Districts panel, select Edit.
- Select Add Row and populate the fields.
- Name: Enter a name for the appraisal district.
- Report As Code: Enter the code that will display for the appraisal district on reports.

Select Save.
The appraisal district displays in the Appraisal Districts panel.
Edit or delete an appraisal district

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Appraisal Districts panel, select Edit.

Edit an appraisal district: Adjust the information as needed.

Delete an appraisal district: Select the Delete icon.
- Select Save.
The information is updated in the Appraisal Districts panel.
Manage crop use classes
Add a crop use class

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Crop Use Classes panel, select Edit.
- Select Add Row and populate the fields.
- Name: Enter a name for the crop use class.
- Report As Code: Enter the code that will display for the crop use class on reports.

Select Save.
The crop use class displays in the Crop Use Classes panel.
Edit or delete a crop use class

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Crop Use Classes panel, select Edit.

Edit a crop use class: Adjust the information as needed.

Delete a crop use class: Select the Delete icon.
- Select Save.
The information is updated in the Crop Use Classes panel.
Manage timber use classes
Add a timber use class

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Timber Use Classes panel, select Edit.
- Select Add Row and populate the fields.
- Name: Enter a name for the timber use class.
- Report As Code: Enter the code that will display for the timber use class on reports.

Select Save.
The timber use class displays in the Timber Use Classes panel.
Edit or delete a timber use class

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Appraisals.
- On the Valuations panel, select Basic Cost - Agricultural.

On the Timber Use Classes panel, select Edit.

Edit a timber use class: Adjust the information as needed.

Delete a timber use class: Select the Delete icon.
- Select Save.
The information is updated in the Timber Use Classes panel.
