Manage holiday access
System Administration allows you to limit system access on holidays, which are managed in the Holiday Calendar.
You determine what holidays and dates are used in the Holiday Calendar. For example, if a holiday falls on a weekend but is observed on a weekday, you can set that holiday's date to the day your office will be closed.
The Holiday Access permission has priority over the user or role's regular access. For example, consider a user who has access from 8-5 on Mondays, but doesn't have access on holidays. When a holiday falls on a Monday, the user won't be able to access the application, even though they usually have access on Mondays.
At the end of the year, the current Holiday Calendar is rolled into Past Years, so you can view it at any time. Past Year calendars can't be edited, but they can be viewed for reference.
Prerequisites
Edit Holiday Calendar permission is required to create and edit Holiday Calendars.
Add a new holiday calendar
Create a new holiday calendar for the next year (i.e., if your last calendar is for 2030, the next one you add will be for 2031).
You can add a holiday calendar for as many years as desired.

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Holiday Calendar.

On the Set Dates tab, select Add Year.
A modal displays with holidays for the next available year.

Adjust the holidays and dates.

To set a holiday's date, enter the appropriate date in the Date field or select the calendar icon to choose a date.

To add a holiday to the list, select Add Row, and then enter the holiday's name and date.

To remove a holiday, select the Delete icon.

Select Save.
The new holiday calendar displays in a panel at the bottom of the screen.
Edit a holiday calendar
Edit upcoming holidays in a current or future calendar. You can't edit any past holidays.

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Holiday Calendar.

On the Set Dates tab, select Edit for the year.

Adjust the holidays and dates.

To set a holiday's date, enter the appropriate date in the Date field or select the calendar icon to choose a date.

To add a holiday to the list, select Add Row, and then enter the holiday's name and date.

To remove a holiday, select the Delete icon.

Select Save.
View a past year calendar
View a Holiday Calendar from a previous year.

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Holiday Calendar.

Select the Past Years tab.
A panel displays for each past year Holiday Calendar.
To view a calendar, expand the panel for the desired year.
