Vacation Approval

Summary

The Vacation Approval window is used to view, approve and reject vacation approval requests generated in the Employee Self Service online application.

Step by Step

1     Open the Vacation Approval window.  

 

• The Vacation Approval window (PR> Maintenance> Vacation Approval) will display any vacation requests that the current user is tasked with approving or rejecting.
  • Approved vacation requests will display in green, pending requests in yellow and rejected requests in red.
• Enter the desired date and type information in the Search Criteria section and click the Refresh icon to filter the vacation requests that are displayed on the calendar below.
• Highlight a vacation request and click the Modify icon to display the request details in the Vacation Approval Maintenance window.

2     Approve or deny the vacation request.  

 

• The Vacation Approval Maintenance window will display the employee information, vacation request details and any notes the employee provided regarding the request.
• Enter the vacation approval or rejection details in the Response field.
• Click the Approve or Reject icons to approve or reject the vacation request.
  • The requesting employee will receive an email informing them of the approval or rejection of their vacation request.
