Assign Tab Settings
Summary
The Assign Tab Settings tool is used to assign the custom tab order settings set up by one user to other who users could benefit from the same tab order customization. For example, if multiple employees are responsible for creating purchase orders, assigning all of those employees the same custom tab order for the PO Purchase Order page could ensure consistency and standardize the purchase order work flow. The tab order settings of any user for any page that uses tab order settings can be assigned to any other user or users.

Step by Step
- Open the Assign Tab Settings screen (SS> Utilities> Assign Tab Settings).
- The Page field is used to select which tab order settings page will be updated for the selected users.
- The Cirrus pages that offer tab order customization are AP Invoices, GL Journal Entries, PO Purchase Orders, PO Requisitions, PR Quick Time Entry, and PR Timesheets.
- The User to copy field is used to select which user will have their custom tab order settings assigned to the selected users.
- Users are created and maintained on the User Maintenance page (SS> Security> User). Click here for information on User Maintenance.
- Click ADD to assign users to the tab settings. This will open the User Selection screen.
- Check the toggle next to each Cirrus user who should be assigned to the tab settings.
- Use the SHIFT key to select a range of users.
- Click the Select button to add the selected users and close the User Selection screen.
- Select a user and click DELETE to remove the user from the tab settings assignment.
- Click the Save button to complete the assignment process.
